_Reunited with my Elementary Classmates

from left to right (standing): Roma Amor Tagulao, Jonnalyn Rapada,
Gretta De Vera with her child, Riza Baay, Joseph Junio, Niño Ver Bautista,
Richi Diego; (squat): *me*, Ryan Maniling, Baltazar Manuel, and Ivy Divino
(Not included in the picture: Jowald Maniling and King Ezekiel Beltran to make us 13.)

This is the first time for us elementary classmates to be in one place again after our graduation last March 2002. All the fun we had that afternoon! Teasing and laughters while we recall past experiences of our childhood. And we have talked a lot about our careers, other classmates, current events, our goals in life ("After 10 years...") and anything under the sun!
  • I didn't plan this reunion not until I get frustrated when I learned that we have no classes at VMU.
  • It all started when I texted Riza--that's nearly eleven o'clock in the morning--and told her to go to the house. (It's my first time to tell it on a classmate, although she's residing a few blocks away from the house.)
  • When she texted me that Gretta, and her child, was with her I immediately invited them both.
  • Ryan was about to leave tomorrow for his enrollment in RTU but he readily accepted my invitation.
  • I managed to compel Roma Amor, our kindergarten classmate, to come.
  • It's so lucky that Ivy would just take her exam at PSU tomorrow. From the marketplace, Ivy and Jonnalyn Rapada rushed in the house.
  • I learned from Bobby Joe's mother that he already went to Valenzuela City; there he spent his birthday. No more chance to be with him.
  • Riza and Gretta also got the chance to spot Joseph.
  • It required me little effort to convince Baltazar, Ritchi, and King Ezekiel.
  • Joevel wasn't in their house, but luckily, Jowald has just arrived from Bulacan.
  • On our way to the house, we are so fortunate to see Niño Ver, who is ready to go to his gf's house. He'll be going to Angeles City tomorrow to find a job.

_At last!

It's not that painful. Just as what I'm always telling to myself since I heard of this procedure: "I can do it; I am sure that it's tolerable". As a beginner ("first timer"), I'm not excused from committing errors. I mistakenly aspirated a quite amount of the medication--it's supposed to be only 0.1 cc, but I miscalculated it to 0.2--from that ampule into a syringe with 0.9 cc of distilled water. Therefore, I need to dispose it and prepare another again. A have learned from that mistake. We're not actually prepared. It was only that morning that we decided to be partners. Yet we (my partner and I) had done the return demo as successful as it should be. Thanks be to God.

_As a nursing student...

Intradermal and Intramuscular injections: our final Nursing skills demonstration for this summer class. Last two weeks, we performed the proper handwashing technique and made unoccupied patient bed. I'm so excited for this painful gain! I also feel nervous thinking that my partner will scream upon my first attempt on him. Good luck to us!
